Alcohol Measurement Kit EasyDens + SmartRef for Cider

The Anton Paar EasyDens and SmartRef combined kit offers precise alcohol content measurement and fermentation monitoring. The kit combines digital density meter and refractive index technology, enabling alcohol content determination with ±0.6 volume percent accuracy in fermenting and finished beverages like cider, beer, wine, kombucha, liqueur, spirits, and other alcoholic drinks.

Operating principle: The kit uses data combination from two devices to calculate accurate alcohol content without initial measurement requirements in finished products. EasyDens measures liquid density using vibrating U-tube method, ensuring ultra-precise results. SmartRef determines refractive index and sugar content through optical measurement in under 2 seconds. The Proof Meister, Brew Meister, or Wine Meister mobile app automatically calculates alcohol content, real extract, and original gravity from this data. The system enables alcohol content determination in berry drinks and beverages with additives with the same accuracy.

The kit operates through Proof Meister, Brew Meister, and Wine Meister mobile apps, offering automatic temperature compensation between 5-30°C, application-specific corrections, and measurement condition monitoring. The apps allow saving, managing, exporting, and visualizing measurement data and monitoring the entire fermentation process in real-time.

For beer production, the kit determines alcohol content with ±0.5 volume percent accuracy, real extract, and original gravity. The device is suitable for light, regular, and strong beer analysis. The kit enables wort extract content monitoring in Plato degrees with ±0.3°P accuracy in the range of -10 to 40°P. Fermentation monitoring occurs throughout the process with automatic wort and alcohol correction.

For wine production, the kit offers alcohol content determination with ±0.5 volume percent accuracy up to 15% alcohol content and ±1.0% in the 15-20% range. The device determines total extract and enables wine fermentation monitoring with digital precision. SmartRef enables berry sugar content determination in Brix degrees with ±0.2°Bx accuracy in the range of 0-85°Bx and residual sugar content checking before second fermentation in sparkling wine production.

The EasyDens digital density meter operates on vibrating U-tube technology. The device provides results in over 20 different measurement units: Plato degrees (-10 to 40°P), specific gravity (0.7-1.2), Brix degrees (-10 to 80°Bx), Baumé degrees (0-45°Bé), Oechsle degrees (-50 to 400°Oe), KMW (0-30°KMW), alcohol percentages by volume and mass (0-100%) and much more. The device is waterproof IP65 rated, operates via wireless Bluetooth Low Energy connection, and requires only 2 milliliters of sample. Power source is 2 AA batteries with operating time over 40 hours. Dimensions are 101 x 58 x 44 mm and weight including batteries is 190 grams.

The SmartRef compact digital refractometer offers over 40 different measurement units and provides results in less than 2 seconds. Refractive index measurement range is 1.3330-1.5040 with ±0.0003 accuracy. The device includes SmartGuide+ function in mobile app. SmartRef is waterproof IP66 rated with stainless steel sample well and weighs only 135 grams. Dimensions are 108 x 64 x 35 mm.
