The barrels are made of 100% American white oak with a medium-toasted interior and untreated exterior (NOT LINED WITH PLASTIC OR ALUMINUM FOIL). This means that more careful maintenance is required to keep the barrels in ideal condition. However, the result is the best possible product and much greater flexibility in maintaining a leak-free barrel. All barrels may leak if not properly cared for - for more information about leaks and how to fix them, see the instructions on the right.
Usage principle: The stainless steel tap is installed on the oak barrel to allow easy dispensing of beverages. Make sure the tap is properly installed and the seal is in good condition to prevent leaks. Regular cleaning of the tap ensures long-lasting and hygienic use.
