They receive a suspension, which they filter. This process is sometimes not sufficient and tiny particles of oak dust push through the filter and then accumulate into larger visible agglomerates.

We sincerely apologize for this, the manufacturer is trying to improve the filtration process. However, oak extract cannot be ruled out for taste reasons.

In any case, it is not harmful and the finished alcohol can be filtered through a filter paper or possibly through a coffee filter.
