Usage: Great chiller for breweries up to 80L in size. Sold with the RoboBrew BrewZilla 65L, these compact immersion chillers are ideal for chilling wort up to 65L down to pitching temperature. Perfect solution for those using small pots.
Features: Made from 304 Grade Stainless Steel. Tubing: 12.7mm, 304 Stainless. Coiled part: 25cm high x 27cm diameter. Total height: 40cm.
Usage Methods:
- Method 1 - Immersion Cooling: Connect your garden hose to both ends of the chiller using stepless hose clamps or compression fittings. Lower the chiller into your hot wort and cycle water through until desired temperature is reached. Agitating the wort while water flows will reduce cooling time by more than half.
- Method 2 - Recirculation with Ice Bucket: Pump hot wort through the middle of the chiller using silicone tube connected from boiler to pump, through the coil chiller and back to boiler. Heat sterilize by running until wort boiling temperature is reached. Then immerse the coil into a bucket of ice and water mixed together. Run pump continuously until wort cools to desired temperature.
