10" Beer Filtering System, keg to keg

This beer filter is designed to be used with our absolute 1-micron filter. The filter works best when used as an intermediary when transferring ice-cold (-1°C) non-carbonated beer from one keg to another. To use the system, you only need to purchase hoses, clamps, ball valves, and an absolute 1-micron filter. If you value the visual appearance of beer and prefer crystal clear beer, this is indeed the most cost-effective method to achieve crystal clear beer with minimal effort.

The system comes standard with Duotight fittings that are compatible with our EVA Barrier tubing with 6.5mm internal diameter and 9.5mm external diameter.

This filter can also be used for filtering yeast from distillation mash. Removing yeast before putting the mash into the still significantly improves the quality of the final distillate. Many undesirable flavors in distillate come from boiling yeast. When yeast cells are boiled, they burst, releasing many undesirable aromas and fusel oils.

Note: Hot liquids exceeding 50°C should not come in direct contact with the filter housing. Do not use this filter on unrestricted water supply pressure exceeding 70 psi (4.8 bar).

Please note that the absolute 1-micron filter shown in the picture is not included with the system but is sold separately.

Filter usage principle: The system is installed between two kegs, where one keg contains unfiltered beer and the other is empty. The beer is pumped or gravity-fed through the filter, which removes particles and yeast, ensuring a clear end result.
